Petes Kass-In

PETERBOROUGH, ON – Ricky’s All Day Grill, in partnership with the Peterborough Petes, have announced Petes’ captain Zack Kassian as the Ricky’s All Day Grill Petes Player of the Week for the week ending November 23rd , 2009. For his accomplishments, Zack receives a gift certificate from Ricky’s All Day Grill.

Kassian, a native of LaSalle, ON, led the Petes to a 2-1 record this past weekend in the Ontario Hockey League. His shorthanded goal against the Niagara Ice Dogs swung the momentum towards the maroon and white and sparked a come from behind victory Saturday night. Kassian continues to show that the Peterborough Petes organization made the right decision in naming him team captain as he potted one goal to go along with his four assists for five points and a +1 rating through three games. His strong play saw him awarded with a spot on the Ontario team against the team Russia in the Subway Super Series.
