Kassian, a native of LaSalle, ON, has returned from the Buffalo Sabres training camp with a tremendous attitude and work ethic. Since his return, Zack has registered 2 goals and 5 assists including 4 points this past weekend. His 7 points leads the team after five regular season games and serves to justify the organization's decision in naming him captain of the 2009-10 edition of the Peterborough Petes.Kassian was selected 13th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in this past June's NHL Entry Draft. His continued success with the Petes will hopefully lead to Zack someday playing alongside another pair of former Petes, Patrick Kaleta and Steve Montador.
Don't miss out on your opportunity to catch Zack and his teammates take on the Oshawa Generals in round 2 of the "115 Series", this Thursday, 7:00 PM at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
