PETERBOROUGH, ON - Despite a valiant effort by the maroon and white tonight, the Peterborough Petes fell to the host Plymouth Whalers 4-2.
The Petes would start off strong taking a 2-1 lead to the dressing room on goals by Jamie Doornbosch and the Buckhorn Bandit Justin Larson. However three unanswered goals, including one into the empty net, was enough to sink the Petes against a strong Whalers squad.
Next action for the Petes is tomorrow afternoon when they visit the London Knights, 2:00 PM at the John Labatt's Centre.
