PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Petes seem to be the underdog in every game they play this year. Especially now that they have lost two of their top forwards due to injury in the past two games.
This afternoon they were unable to overcome the odds and suffered a tough defeat, 8-2 to the London Knights at the John Labatt's Centre in London. Scoring for the Petes were Pat Daley, who notched his 21st of the season, and rookie Matt Puempel who notched his 20th of the season.
Next action for the Petes is Thursday night when they play host to the Belleville Bulls, 7:00 PM at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
