Petes Fall to Battalion

PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Petes saw their record fall to 7-8 last night when they dropped a 3-1 decision to the Brampton Battalion at the Powerade Centre.

The Petes opened the scoring when sophomore forward Ryan Spooner continued his early success putting the Petes up 1-0. However, three unanswered goals by the Battalion and a strong defensive effort in the third period was enough to fend off the Petes.

Petes' goaltender Jason Missiaen continued his strong play stopping 39 of the 42 shots he faced.

Next action for the Petes comes Thursday, October 29th when they play host to the Oshawa Generals at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
