PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Petes will look to improve on their 5-3 record tonight when they host the Erie Otters, 7:00 PM at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season and the first of two games on the weekend for the Petes.
Last weekend, the Petes battled with the Oshawa Generals, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, and Sudbury Wolves and managed to take four of a possible six points including two on their Northern road trip to jump past the Kingston Frontenacs in the overall standings and into a tie with the Barrie Colts a top the Eastern Conference.
The Otters will bring their 2-2-1-1 record with them in hopes of moving above the .500 mark on the season. In a tough Western Conference the Otters currently hold down eighth spot.
The Petes will travel to Mississauga tomorrow night to take on the Majors in the first game of a four game set this season. The Majors currently sit in a tie for third place in the Eastern Conference with the Kingston Frontenacs.
