PETERBOROUGH, ON - Ricky's All Day Grill, in partnership with the Peterborough Petes, have announced Petes' overage Brett Theberge as the Ricky's All Day Grill Petes Player of the Week for the week ending October 12th, 2009. For his accomplishments Brett receives a gift certificate from Ricky's All Day Grill.
Brett, a native of Sundridge, ON, led the Petes from start to finish in their 7-1 rout of the visiting Erie Otters on Thursday night at the Memorial Centre. His two goals and one assist was enough to leave Brett tied for team lead on the weekend with sophomore forward Ryan Spooner. Through ten games in the 2009-10 Ontario Hockey League season, Theberge holds third spot on the Petes leader board for total points with seven goals and three assists for ten total points. Brett has come out of the gate flying in his overage season, currently scoring at a point per game rate, and really showing his leadership skills both on and off the ice.
