Spooner Honoured Twice

PETERBOROUGH, ON – Ricky’s All Day Grill, in partnership with the Peterborough Petes, have announced Petes’ sophomore forward Ryan Spooner as the Ricky’s All Day Grill Petes Player of the Week for the week ending November 30th , 2009. For his accomplishments, Ryan receives a gift certificate from Ricky’s All Day Grill.

Spooner, a native of Kanata, ON, notched two goals to go along with his six assists through three games this past weekend for a total of eight points. On top of being named the Petes Player of the Week, Ryan also received honours as the Ontario Hockey League Player of the Week for this same week. Spooner now ranks eleventh in the Ontario Hockey League in the race for leading scorer. He tops all his teammates on the scoring list for the maroon and white, ahead of fellow line mate Pat Daley who is a close second.
