Petes Make Big Splash at Deadline

PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Petes have made a rather large splash in the Trade Deadline Pool. The Petes have shipped captain Zack Kassian to the Windsor Spitfires in what could be deemed a blockbuster trade.

In return, the Petes receive sophomore forward Austin Watson, a 2nd round pick in 2012, and a 2nd round pick in 2014.

Watson, a native of Ann Arbor, MI, was a force for the Windsor Spitfires last season scoring twenty-nine points in his rookie season. This season Watson has thirty-four points in forty-two games for the powerhouse Spitfires.
